Book your tickets and make payment by Nov 2, 2023.
Tickets will be NOT be sold at door on the day of the Diwali Program.
Reminder:  Membership must be paid before booking your tickets otherwise you will have to pay Non- Members fee  for this event

Important note: The Diwali booklet will not be printed this year. It will be printed for the Diwali function in 2024.

You can book your Diwali Tickets by Interac e-Transfer on email : Please send your payment by e-transfer to pso.etransfer@gmail.com.

IMPORTANT – please add the following message when making the e-transfer: “Payments for Diwali Event, November 18, 2023”. Please add the full names of all the persons that you are sending fee for in the comment section

Rangoli* : 5.30- 6.30 pm
Appetizer : 6.30pm- 7.30 pm
Diwali Program, including  Welcome Speeches, Academic Awards, Entertainment prog , Dinner and Dance, Raffle draw etc. from 7.00pm onwards.
 
*Round trays  and materials to decorate their rangoli will be provided at the hall. You are welcome to bring your own materials as well. There will be a separate area for kids rangoli.

Suggested Dress Code
Gentlemen and Boys : Are kindly requested to wear Indian Kurta or Sherwani Etc.
Ladies and Girls : Are kindly requested to wear traditional Indian saree, Indian dress, Chaniya Choli etc. 
We will set up booth for you to take your own family Portraits.

This year we have introduced new awards , 1 award for Children, 1 for Youth, see detail below.  Please submit to PSO committee by Oct 18, 2023

CATEGORY: Children 
ELIGIBILITY:   Children of members of the Panchal Samaj of Ontario, Age 10 yrs to under 15yrs 
CRITERIA:   
Academic Excellence
Participation in PSO activities, eg. Gatherings and events, Providing assistance to PSO committee.
Special recognition/ significant achievements in extra-curricular activities including sports.
AWARD:  One Award per year
                 $100.00 cash
                 Personalized plaque
SELECTION:  By a panel of at least 3 members of the PSO committee.
 
CATEGORY: Youth
ELIGIBILITY:   Children of members of the Panchal Samaj of Ontario, Age 15 yrs to 24yrs
[including Graduates of High Schools, Technical Schools and Universities]
CRITERIA:   
Academic Excellence
Participation in PSO activities, e.g. Gatherings and events, Providing assistance to PSO committee
Special recognition/ significant achievements in extra-curricular activities, including sports.
AWARD:  One Award per year
                 $150.00 cash
                 Personalized plaque
SELECTION:  By a panel of at least 3 members of the PSO committee
